Doris F. Fisher

Doris Fisher co-founded Gap with her husband Don in 1969, opening the first store in San Francisco to sell Levi's jeans and records. The company grew into a global retail empire with over 3,000 stores worldwide, including Banana Republic and Old Navy. She was a major art collector and philanthropist, serving on the board of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
